A poetic collection by journalist Fazil Jamili, "Gumnaam Aadmi ka Bayan," was launched on Friday, with Sindh chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah as chief guest. In his address at the ceremony held at one of Karachi's remaining old hotels, the chief minister noted that the poet has written on several important issues, including Lyari, and also highlighted the role of PPP politician Rafiq Engineer. He said that the Sindh government has made all efforts to bring peace in the city and now Karachi is much more secure than in previous years. Former chief minister Nisar Khuhro read out a couple of verses from the book.
